Despite the title, this is not actually the pilot for the sci-fi series, but a film that expands on various ideas appearing in Babylon 5 over four seasons. Emperor Londo Mollari (Peter Jurasik) tells the story of the Earth-Minbari War, which once threatened to wipe out Mankind, to some children. This then enables the producers to introduce the whole Babylon concept to a potential new group of viewers. The movie goes at a fair pace, with good special effects not hampered by a tiny budget and boosted by credible acting. Despite some occasional unlikely situations, the majority of the regular series cast make it an enjoyable space tale.
