Rebecca Romijn-Stamos

The daughter of a Dutch father and Dutch-American mother, Rebecca began her career when she was discovered by a Parisian modelling scout.
She has since captured the hearts and imaginations of fans and consumers around the world through her movies, TV shows, advertisements and modelling.
On the big screen, Rebecca impressed audiences in X-Men as Mystique, a blue-skinned villain who is able to morph into anyone she sees. She reprises her role for the sequel X-2.
She was first seen on the screen in 1994 in an episode of Friends playing (as one of the characters referred to her) "the most beautiful woman in the world," who also happens to keep the dirtiest apartment in New York.
She made her movie debut appearing as herself in a cameo role in Austin Powers 2 and followed this with more TV work, which included hosting a show on MTV.
She has since landed high profile roles in the 2002 remake of Rollerball and Brian de Palma's Femme Fatale as well as a small part in Simone opposite Al Pacino.
She made a more straight-forward appearance in the thrillerm Godsend, as the mother who elects to genetically re-create her dead son.
Although Rebecca's career has enabled her to travel around the world, she remains a homebody at heart, dividing her time between Los Angeles and New York. She also has a younger sister and a close extended family in Holland.
