This intriguingly titled mystery is set in a small community called Jasper Lake, situated in a mountainous region in the heart of California. It's a place where there are a few year-round residents, a number of small businesses and many holiday homes. The mystery centres on a girl thought to have been killed in a car crash. Andy Griffith heads the cast as the investigator, the local chief of police.
