There's no stopping the pace, the action and the spirit of this pre-war desert adventure, set in Morocco in 1904 and based on real events. It's an exciting, if far-fetched tale with Sean Connery effectively battling his miscasting as, of all things, an Arab warlord who kidnaps an American widow (Candice Bergen at her best).
