Colleen Dewhurst comes up trumps in yet another TV movie starring vehicle, this time as a middle-aged mother facing a choice between abortion or another child. Thanks to a witty and thought-provoking script, Dewhurst has the material to deliver a delightful performance. She is ably supported by Warren Oates as her husband, Al Corley (the original Steven in Dynasty) as a son who has flunked out of college and, in a very early role, Timothy Hutton (billed as Tim) as her youngest offspring. Intelligently put over with confident direction by Waris Hussein.
