Attractive performances from the two leading players, toothy Gary Busey and gorgeous Annette O'Toole, save this polygenous light comedy which pulls together elements from It Happened One Night,The Graduate and other poor-boy-chases-rich-girl film romances. Most of the supporting roles are pretty unbelievable and over-the-top although Cloris Leachman is funny as O'Toole's scatterbrained, much-married mother.
