Somewhat reminiscent of the film Rollercoaster, this addition to the `disaster' school of movie entertainment has its share of spectacle. It is set during a Fourth of July celebration when a sudden hurricane turns an amusement park into a nightmare of fire and panic, including a disaster to the rollercoaster. Mike Connors and Martin Landau co-star as two partners at odds as to whether the park needs to be closed down for safety checks. Also in the cast is Diana Canova, daughter of film funny girl Judy Canova.
