This TV movie about teenage vigilantes becoming as vioilent and reprehensible as the crooks and drug dealers they fight in the school yard, pretends to be against violence. But in reality, it is the film's lifeblood. It was produced by the team of Peter Gubers and Jon Peters (Barbra Streisand's one-time hairdresser), who reached the pinnacle of their screen partnership with the monster hit 'Batman'. The best advice is forget the film's dubious moral stance and enjoy instead its impressive collection of early performances from up-and-coming young actors Kiefer Sutherland, Keanu Reeves, Joe Spano and Billy Zane.
