An intriguing idea is never quite carried out with sufficient urgency by writer-director David N Twohy to put this nice-looking oddity in the top flight of fantasy. Innkeeper Jeff Daniels, battling the booze and the memory of leaving his wife to die, finds his hotel housing a group of strange tourists who turn out to be time travellers visiting earthly disasters. Can he prevent one happening in 1991 and rescue a child from her vengeful grandfather at the same time? Watch this space!
