Chock-full of false alarms, this mad bomber movie stars Jeff Bridges as a former Irish terrorist. He's now a crack member of the Boston bomb squad who comes up against Tommy Lee Jones's unreformed bomber who has escaped from prison in Ireland. Bridges and Jones are fine, the action's good enough, the effects are seamless and the film's tightly edited, but it's all disappointingly routine.
