This slick and glossy movie of Michael Crichton's hit thriller novel is a well-judged mix of highly provocative elements and a crowd-pleasing plot.

Passed over for a top job at his computer firm, Michael Douglas finds his new boss is his ex, Demi Moore, who soon swoops on him for sexual satisfaction.

Resisting, he's accused of sexual harassment the next day, so countersues.

Both on good form, Douglas and Moore work well together, while Donald Sutherland oozes odious charm as the firm's wolfish MD.
