An unnecessary sequel to a scary original, thunderously over-directed by Danny Cannon and screechingly over-scored by John Frizzell.
You're asked to believe that college grads would be unaware that their holiday to the Bahamas was in the storm season, or that they'd given the wrong answer to a radio quiz and still won, or that the hotel staff would treat them like dirt when they got there.
Well, OK, maybe. At any rate, there's a shower scene, numerous false frights and bodies that disappear when the heroine calls for help.
Tiny Jennifer Love Hewitt, with whose curves Cannon's cameras seem obsessed, just about carries the same-again story through, in spite of a ridiculous scene where she lies in a suntan machine knowing the killer's around.
The inevitable final sequence and 'open' ending are too silly for words.
