Genevieve Bujold is brilliantly feisty as a doctor who uncovers a scam in spare-part surgery at her own hospital. She scales to dizzy heights up air shafts and along ventilation systems, hotly pursued by a hired killer, until she's finally cornered... The breathless action makes this medical thriller a real gripper and Bujold is such a tour-de-force that Michael Douglas can only stand and gasp as her sceptical lover, a fellow doctor. Richard Widmark scores strongly as the chief surgeon and watch out for Tom Selleck in an early role as a patient in danger.
