Sigourney Weaver repeats her role from Alien as Flight Officer Ripley, who's induced to go back to the alien planet where it all started 57 years earlier. The aliens have taken over from human colonists and the sole survivor's a little girl called Newt (Carrie Henn) who Ripley goes into action to save from danger. Weaver gives it all she's got as director James Cameron hammers away at the nerve-ends: this awesome sci-fi blockbuster never lets up. The visual and sound effects won well-deserved Oscars. Ripley's miniature bathroom in her flat is a toilet bought from British Airways! Henn has appeared in no other film or TV drama, and now works as a teacher in California.
