Hulk
Genre-swapping director Ang Lee finds room for some emotion when bringing Marvel Comics' larger-than-life character Hulk to the big green screen. Incredibly, Hulk is BIG and clever...
The Hulk was absolutely fantastic. A great build up during the first 45 minutes with Jennifer Connelly looking very beautiful indeed. Eric Bana played the part extremely well. Best Superhero adaptation to date and can't wait for the sequel. "Don't make me angry..........."
David Cawley
Two Hulk-sized thumbs up!!
John
Bana & Connelly were ace - MUCH better than Maguire & Dunst (and I loved Spider-Man). This film rocks...you HAVE to see it!!
Ellis
I agree with John. I think this was the best Marvel comic adaptation to date. The direction was excellent throughout. Ang Lee maintained a good balance between making the film tense - Nick Nolte's terrified when he first sees the Hulk - and keeping with the idea of a comic (using the split screen comic book effect). Go see it! 'Marvel'ous.
Steve Nolan
Jeepers. If this director is to make something worth watching would he at least make it real! Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was a hit I'll admit, but this, this is a ridiculous, complete flop of a movie, in my opinion it was a complete waste of time!
Iain Macleod
Unimaginative and slow plot, poor chracterisation and strange camera work.
Mark Williams
I have never known a bigger broken connection between film goers and so-called reviewers. After reading a number of reviews, I was particularly wary when I took my son to see this film. I am a big fan of the comics and I was not disappointed. The film was full of character development and had a refreshingly dark atmosphere. The CGI was brilliant and the Hulk felt just like I imagined him to be. If you are a fan of the comics - go and see this film!
