A feeble adaptation of a Rex Stout mystery, in which sleuth Nero Wolfe (Maury Chaykin) is called on to prepare his famous trout recipe for a diplomatic meeting in the mountains. Eventually, a senior politician dies, but there's a lot of would-be quirky characterisation to go through first. Timothy Hutton co-stars in his regular role as Archie.
