The actor landed his first big screen leading role as Scotty in the gross-out comedy Eurotrip.
Born in New York but raised in Texas, he moved to LA in 2001 and graduated from the UCLAS Conservatory Acting programme in 2003.
He made his feature debut as Captain Hook's assistant Smee in the low-budget Neverland in the same year.
The following year he starred alongside Rory Culkin in the independent drama Mean Creek.
