The actor - a TV soap star in Mexico - is best known to British audiences as the footballing hero Santiago Munez of soccer movie Goal!
Raised in Mexico City, he originally studied violin at Salzburg's Moazarteum aged six only to switch to acting when he was 17.

He made his Mexican TV debut in 1996 and became known as the brooding rich son in the series Sonadoras.
Becker made his feature debut in the 2003 movie Lucia, Lucia opposite Cecilia Roth and went on to star alongside Antonio Banderas and Emma Thompson in Imagining Argentina.
In 2005, he starred alongside Anna Friel as a Mexican footballing prodigy who plays for Newcastle in Goal!
