Kathryn Erbe

Kathryn's career has always found her alternating between the stage and screen.
In 1989, the very young looking Kathryn was cast in her first film role as an 11-year-old in the teen drama Runaway Dreams.
She is also no stranger to television work, and that same year was cast as Lynn Redgrave's daughter on the series Chicken Soup.
She found bit parts on daytime TV and worked onstage, most notably in The Speed of Darkness in 1991, which brought her a Tony Award nomination.
She developed a cult following for her TV role as death row inmate Shirley Bellinger, in Oz, a brutal look at life inside a jail.
In 1999, Kathryn starred as Kevin Bacon's wife in the psychological thriller Stir of Echoes. A year later she has appeared in Speaking of Sex, and supported Kevin Costner in Dragonfly.
The following year, she had a regular role as edgy detective Alexandra Eames in the US TV series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
