Nothing exemplifies nasty, greedy Eighties corporate behaviour more than the infamous mega-deal at international giant Nabisco in which chief executive F Ross Johnson (convincingly played here by James Garner) staked his money and his reputation on a new product - a smokeless cigarette - and decided to buy the company. Writer Larry Gelbart's script has turned what could have been turgid financial and political dealings into great entertainment in this well above average TV movie. Glenn Jordan's direction keeps things moving faster than the Footsie and Garner is superb in a role that depicts fat cats as self-anointed royalty, horseback riding with his mobile phone. Add Jonathan Pryce as a high-flying business competitor and Peter Riegert as a fast-talking consultant, and this is quite a winner.
