The director landed a box office hit with the Adam Sandler comedy The Wedding Singer.
After studying at the New York University (with Sandler) he worked as a director of travel documentaries taking him to more than 35 countries including Australia and China.

At 26 his debut - the thriller Murdered Innocence - was named best feature at the Long Island Film Festival and he went on to direct the Wedding Singer with Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
He also directed The Waterboy with Sandler and Kathy Bates and subsequently helmed Around The World in 80 Days with Steve Coogan and Jackie Chan.
