A fairly standard hostage thriller, TV movie style. James Garner is the FBI specialist whose job it is to negotiate a truce between three escaped convicts (led by a mean Kim Coates) who have captured some deaf students, holed them up in a slaughterhouse and threatened to kill them. A reasonable amount of suspense, violence and good dialogue keep this on the boil for most of the viewing time.
