The delightful Goldie Hawn here plays a free-living girl who guides a restricted young blind man (played by Edward Albert, real-life son of Eddie Albert) to his freedom. Also featured is Paul Michael Glaser, once David Starsky of Starsky and Hutch. Eileen Heckart won an Academy Award (best supporting actress) for her wasp-tongued portrayal of the hero's over-protective mother.
