Andrew McCarthy plays a virginal student who just happens to be picked up in a bar by stunning Jacqueline Bisset , who just happens to be the discontented mother of his filthy-rich roommate (Rob Lowe). Coincidences continue to pile up in a comedy that has some class (courtesy of Ms Bisset) but not much credibility. However, there are some funny lines and look out for young siblings John and Joan Cusack who have supporting roles.
