Kathy Najimy

An American actress of Lebanese descent, Kathy started her life in showbiz as a member of the feminist theatre group Sisters On Stage.
Eventually, in 1991, she was cast in her first film, The Hard Way, opposite Michael J. Fox and James Woods.
It was the comedy Sister Act and its sequel that really brought Kathy to the attention of moviegoers.
Her first leading role was in Hocus Pocus in 1993, and then Kathy was cast in a recurring role in the popular TV series Chicago Hope.
She also starred as a voice part in animation comedy King of the Hill and in a supporting role in the TV sitcom Veronica's Closet.
