A cult western, set against the parched backdrop of the desert, that will fascinate some viewers and severely try the patience of others. A few people play out destinies from which none of them seems fated to escape. Enigmatic to the last, the film will certainly keep you guessing as to who is doing what to whom and why. Co-produced by Jack Nicholson, who also plays a featured role as the hired gunman on the trail of bounty hunter Warren Oates.
