Brian Dennehy stars in this fast-moving thriller as an attorney who has to convince a witness to testify, despite the fact that the man has been threatened by the mob. Without that testimony the baddies will walk, but there's the question of putting the witness's life in danger. Action and moral dilemmas mix quite well in this television film. Dennehy gives a solid performance as the attorney, while the reliable Aidan Quinn convinces as the frightened witness to a mob slaying. While certain plot twists seem a little contrived, that doesn't stop this being an enjoyable thriller with a satisfying conclusion.
