Olympia Dukakis heads a strong cast as Emily, a woman having to face growing older, in a powerful story about how this changes her and those around her. This meaty drama doesn't pull any punches - nor does it try to gloss the story with floss. An intelligent script from David J Hill isn't wasted by Dukakis, Jean Stapleton, Lindsay Wagner and Edward Herrmann, or by director David Jones. Absorbing and involving, this film is a significant step up from the run-of-the-mill telemovie.
