This bleak but engrossing made-for-cable TV thriller is a remake of a Seventies TV movie called Linda. The pace is a mite on the slow side, but Virginia Madsen is fascinating in the role originated by Stella Stevens as the enigmatic femme fatale who may or may not be involved in incidents which result in murder on a beach. For a puzzle picture, this probably has a twist or two too few, but Madsen's performance and Nathaniel Gutman's direction will make you want to hang around to find out what happens in the end.
