Reluctant bride-to-be Sarah Jessica Parker's doubts about marriage seem justified when she discovers that most of her family (father, mother, sister and brother included) are indulging in extra-marital shenanigans. Tapping into a rich vein of Woody Allen-style humour, this hugely likeable, well-observed, if pretty talky comedy is filled with carefully drawn characters and sharp, telling moments. Parker once again proves her mettle as a comedienne and she's well supported by a strong cast which includes Mia Farrow, as her mother, and Antonio Banderas, as Farrow's stud on the side.
