David Dorfman

The youngster is best known for the role of Naomi Watts' son Aidan in the American remakes of Japanese chiller The Ring.

He had an uncredited role in the 1999 sci-fi spoof Galaxy Quest and made his feature debut proper as William H Macy's son the drama Panic.

He then landed Gwyneth Paltrow for a mum in the romantic drama Bounce before being cast as Aidan in the 2002's The Ring.

Subsequent roles included Robert Downey Jr's son in The Singing Detective (a role he also played on TV's Ally McBeal).

In 2003, he appeared as Jedidiah in the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre before reprising the role of Aidan in Ring Two.
