A documentary on the much-plagued making of the film Fitzcarraldo in 1981 in the jungles of South America. Absorbing viewing, especially in the glimpses of the performances being given by Jason Robards and Mick Jagger before they had to drop out of the film, which cannot but help make one grateful that other actors took over.
