The actor is best known as the buddy of uber-geek Napoleon Dynamite in the independent hit of the same name.

After graduating from The Laura Henry Studio in Santa Monica, California, he studied and performed improv at The Young Actor's Space.

He made his big screen debut in the comedy sci-fi caper Tammy and the T-Rex alongside Denise Richards in 1994.

Subsequent appearances included Jury Duty with Stanley Tucci, Paul Michael Glaser's Kazaam and the drama Melting Pot in 1997.

In 1999, he starred in the horror thriller King Cobra and played opposite the late James Coburn in Missing Pieces.

Director Jared Hess cast him as Pedro in the off-beat movie Napoleon Dynamite.
