Ernest Borgnine and Bette Davis as over-age bank robbers in a satirical comedy which might have worked better as a vehicle for such vintage Hollywood comedy teams as Marie Dressler and Wallace Beery, or Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride (who played Ma and Pa Kettle). The present stars just don't have the warmth and basic innocence the plot requires.
