Old-timer Edmund Gwenn scoops up the acting honours in this warm, sentimental comedy about an old university professor, contemplating a quiet suicide, who is given new interest in life through the problems of two young students who move into his attic. Plump-cheeked Gene Lockhart is almost as good as another professor, and Jeanne Crain quite charming as the girl.
