Bette Davis came to rue the day she agreed to star in this low budget farrago. She clashed so much on set with writer/director Larry Cohen that her character simply disappears at the mid point in the film. She may or may not have been replaced with a character played by Barbara Carrera, but it's hard to tell and few will care. Davis, the new wife of Lionel Stander (Max from TV's Hart to Hart) and is also a witch who shrinks people. But before you can say boo, she disappears to be replaced in the household by Miss Carrera, who announces that she's the witch's daughter. There are lots of bad process shots of Miss Carrera, as if she's been squeezed into previously shot footage. The rest of the actors look pretty desperate and wishful that they could have disappeared at the same time as Miss Davis, or even earlier. You may well feel the same. Wicked is right.
