Mild professor James Stewart falls for nightclub entertainer Ginger Rogers in this one-joke but still fairly sparkling romantic comedy. Money-conscious RKO allowed Ginger only one dance, but the personalities of the stars save the day, not to mention the supporting characters: Jack Carson, Grady Sutton and Franklin Pangborn all get the chance to use their famous pained looks to some advantage.
