A surprisingly harsh and cynical look at big-city police procedures in which a slightly corrupt policeman can find himself thrown to the wolves to satisfy public opinion. Lots of action and storythreads here, plus concerned performances by Glenn Ford and Harry Guardino as two senior officers who find themselves confronted with decisions that don't always prove palatable. Small-scale, this, but decently done: originally an extended episode from the noteworthy 'Police Story' series.
