Director Bernardo Bertolucci's story of an obsessive physical relationship between a middle-aged man (Marlon Brando) and a young drifter (Maria Schneider) is one of the most controversial movies of the 1970s. This extremely dark tale is alienating but Brando's powerful, mesmeric central performance grabs the attention.

I didn't like this film as I was expecting the film 'One night in Paris' and some Tango steps to learn and impress my friends. However, I saw something intriguing involving some butter that I am now interested in trying for myself.
