This trio of stories is a follow-up to Women & Men: Stories of Seduction and as with that film, there is good and indifferent here. The first story, Return to Kansas City, is about a boxer forced to take a bout for which he isn't ready. Although Matt Dillon and Kyra Sedgwick play their parts well, the story seems to end just as it is getting interesting. In the second yarn, A Domestic Dilemma, Ray Liotta plays a salesman married to an alcoholic wife (Andie MacDowell). Again there's very little storyline. The third tale is by far the best. Called Mara, it's about a writer (Scott Glenn) who rescues a down-on-her-luck prostitute (Juliette Binoche) in Paris and treats her to a decent meal.
