A colourful, big-scale, splendidly made Western about the lawless career of the most famous outlaw of them all, packing major star power in Tyrone Power (as Jesse) and Henry Fonda (as his brother Frank).

The pace flags at times and there's too much lovey-dovey, but otherwise it's a fine movie, with lovely Technicolor and great support acting.
