A British attempt to emulate the Hollywood musical revues of the times (such as Paramount on Parade) and notable for its occasional use of primitive colour. Tommy Handley is the host for an inevitably patchy series of acts and perhaps the biggest surprise is the name of Alfred Hitchcock among the five directors. His contribution comprises a couple of Gordon Harker sketches.
