This is really five little tales in one. A judge discovers he's married five couples after his licence has run out, so thy're not really married after all... How will they react to the news?
The starry couples are Ginger Rogers and Fred Allen, Marilyn Monroe and David Wayne, Eve Arden and Paul Douglas, Eddie Bracken and Mitzi Gaynor, and Louis Calhern and Zsa Zsa Gabor.
As you might imagine, some of the stories are better than others, with Rogers and Allen's being the funniest.
With such a star-studded cast, you would be forgiven for expecting something better than this, but it's pleasant enough to be with.
Anyway, any opportunity to see Monroe in a swimsuit pulled audiences in. An undemanding but enjoyable romp.
