The past always throws up secrets and surprises in soaps and TV movies, and in this television offering Beth Bradfield (Patty Duke) gives away a daughter, the product of a failed teenage marriage, for adoption. However, later on, when Beth is in a settled married life, her second daughter is dying of leukaemia and Beth has to trace the baby she gave away to have a hope of finding a reliable bone marrow donor. It all gets more sentimental than it should and seems far-fetched at times. The first daughter is played by Gabrielle Carter, once of Beverly Hills 90210, whose character may not take the news of her abandonment too well. Wait and see.
