Boxer Arturo Ortega (Jimmy Smits) wants to live his life again through his three sons. He never reached the pinnacle of a boxing career, so he pushes his boys into fights, regardless of whether they are up to it, or indeed interested in following that path. Good fight scenes, but otherwise there's not much originality in this tale of a tyrannical father and his dream tearing a family apart.
