Brilliant thriller - based on the novel by Daphne du Maurier - in which an English schoolmaster (Alec Guinness) finds himself in desperate trouble after meeting his `double' in France. The nerve-wracking closing scenes in which Guinness once more confronts his lookalike will keep you guessing up to the last moment.
