The 7th Dawn

Romantic adventure drama starring William Holden and Susannah York. An American tea planter in strife-torn 1950s Malaya finds himself pitted against an old World War Two comrade, who is now fighting for the Communist guerrillas.

Capucine is the only star who gives her role any real feeling, as the other three - William Holden, Susannah York and Tetsuro Tamba - go through hell to save her from hanging for a crime she didn't commit.
