Robust, regional comedy along traditional British lines, but made with tremendous confidence by director Ken Annakin for The Rank Organisation at a time when they were prepared to splash out Technicolor and VistaVision on their brighter product. Diana Dors is at her best as a brass-digging blonde who sets her cap at Yorkshire millionaire John Gregson, there's some music thrown in and you may catch glimpses of Leslie Phillips, Donald Pleasence, Ferdy Mayne, Joan Hickson, Molly Weir and a teenage Oliver Reed. Not great but certainly value for money.
