Inventive, rib-tickling comedy about a girl (Doris Day) who is chased by spies for secrets from the space laboratory where she works. Director Frank Tashlin brings his usual lunatic quality to the visual jokes. One remembers with particular affection Day's vacuum cleaner: it looks like a dog and springs from its 'kennel' with alarming rapidity whenever a scrap of litter hits its beloved floor. The supporting cast includes Dom De Luise; the wolfish Paul Lynde; the plump and querulous John McGiver; Dick Martin, soon to find fame as the clean-shaven half of the famous Laugh-In comedy team; and Edward Andrews. Rod Taylor is a benign leading man but hardly a match for Day's usual partner Rock Hudson.
