Wartime love story enlivened by the injection of some fierce combat scenes. The dour William Holden and the ultra-pretty Nancy Olson were one of the most popular romantic teams of the early Fifties. Paramount had already teamed them three times, and they co-star again in this story of an infantry sergeant who falls in love with a WAC officer.
